Reversion

[edit]

@ПростаРечь Hello, you reverted my edit which states the non-cognacy with a similar Proto-Germanic term. This is relevant because it directly relates to the modern reflexes of these two languages: for example, it affirms that German stöhnen and Bulgarian стон (ston) are not related, despite strong superficial appearances. Unless I'm mistaken in something, these terms really aren't related, and pointing this out is useful information. I appreciate you likely had a good reason to revert my edit, but could you please say what it is, in the edit summary, in future? Thank you, Kiril kovachev (talk) 18:24, 30 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

So they are cognate after all. Thanks for correcting the error, Kiril kovachev (talkcontribs) 13:56, 3 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
