@Victar How does Yagnobi хуб (xub) fit into this? Is it borrowed from Tajik? Great job with the Proto-Iranian once again; I am surprised that this can be traced all the way to Proto-Indo-Iranian —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 01:36, 19 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

@AryamanA: Yep, most likely borrowed. I believe the native Yaghnobi would instead have had a final -p. Sidenote, Tajik is a crappy alphabet for transcribing Yaghnobi since it has no way of slowing vowel length or stress. All those Yaghnobi entries should be moved to ones in Latin. --Victar (talk) 02:43, 19 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
