@Vahagn Petrosyan: Well most Indo-Iranian sources have not reconstructed proper nouns. For instance {{R:inc:IAIL}}, page 603 only lists the cognate forms under the entry for "vr̥tra". The exact form "Vṛtraghna" is seen reconstructed in the books "Myth in Indo-European Antiquity" (page 93) and "The Daeva cult in the Gathas". I'm sorry i'm at school so I can't link the two books but you can view it on google books. Formally, vṛtraghná and vərəθraγna fit perfectly. The often mentioned Vedic cognate vṛtrahán is rather related to Avestan vərəθrajan. -- माधवपंडित (talk) 02:36, 19 March 2018 (UTC)

@Vahagn Petrosyan: That's a matter of orthography. He uses "u" to denote what is shown by "w" at English Wiktionary. For instance, his reconstruction of the word "wolf" in PII and PIE respectively are "urka-" for PII and "*uĺ̥kʷo-" for PIE; we have *wŕ̥kas and *wĺ̥kʷos for the same. As for the "H", Lubotsky does give laryngeals in places where others do not reconstruct a laryngeal. {{R:ine:LIV}} (page 674) does not have an initial laryngeal. -- माधवपंडित (talk) 12:33, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
