*p?
[edit]What is the cause of the alternation between *p and *bʰ and the ablaut here? That is very unusual for PIE. —Rua (mew) 12:44, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Maybe automatic devoicing when Dʰs occurs at word end, but not in word-internal position. Compare Reconstruction:Proto-Indo-European/nókʷts which some people also believe had a voiced root underlying. —Soap— 13:24, 31 May 2022 (UTC)
*s in stem
[edit]Who reconstructs this as a root noun with no s extension? That doesn't seem justified by the data. Every attested form we give has the reflex of *s in the stem (including the Balto-Slavic forms). 4pq1injbok (talk) 09:00, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

Fixed the reconstruction to have an s-suffix. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 00:22, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
