Nonsensical usage note
[edit]The usage note claims the word didn't originally mean 100, despite being inherited from a PIE word that already meant 100. How can it not originally mean 100 when all of its sister cognates in every other Indo-European language mean 100? Did they all develop that meaning independently? Not likely. 128.84.126.155 04:26, 17 March 2016 (UTC)

[edit]The article coontains:
”The words *hundą and *hundaradą may have not originally had a specific definition, but used as a general word for a fairly large number.”
I suppose that this meant as:
” The words *hundą and *hundaradą may not have originally had a specific definition, but may have been used as a general word for a fairly large number.”
or similar. Correct?Redav (talk) 23:17, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
