The forms Dutch rund, English rother (< OE hrȳther) are from PG hrund-, a zero-grade. Kolmiel (talk) 20:20, 16 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

I know. But the OE form indicates that it was *hrunþaz (--unlike in Old Norse, OE didn't normally change PGmc d to þ; also note the loss of nasal). I made a separate entry at *hrunþaz, pointing to this one Leasnam (talk) 14:56, 17 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Kolmiel, would you prefer that I move them there ? I am fine either way Leasnam (talk) 14:59, 17 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Well, I went ahead and separated them out (it really should be like this for consistency. The reason I had them on one page originally was due to the English and Frisian forms, which were so convoluted, but I hope I got them right) Leasnam (talk) 16:07, 17 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
