Kroonen gives the PIE root as *dʰrewHs-, probably in order to connect it with *drūsijaną (“to drowse, fall asleep”). But the vowels of *druziz and *drustiz seem to have been short, which points to *dʰrews-, no? Anglom (talk) 00:54, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
