Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Proto-Balto-Slavic *kemeras, Proto-Indo-European *kemer-. Cognates include Lithuanian kemeras (“Eupatorium cannabinum”), Latvian cemeriņš (“Helleborus”), Greek χάμαρος (chámaros, “Aconitum”).
