[edit]Perhaps related to Proto-Tungusic *turki (“sleigh”) (Even турки (turki), Nanai токи (toki)), Nivkh т’у (tʼu) or Korean 달구지 (dalguji, “cart”). (Can this(+) etymology be sourced?)
