[edit]From an ancient dead verb *döli- + *-gen. Compared to Proto-Turkic *töle-k (“tranquil, sedate, quiet”), Proto-Tungusic *dulu-m (“quite, peaceful, easy”). (Can this(+) etymology be sourced?) The root verb is only found in Turkic. See dölenmek (“to calm down; to rest”).
