[edit]According to Klimov and Fähnrich–Sarǯvelaʒe, here also belongs Svan ყლაუ̂ (q̇laû, “boy”), however Čuxua together with dialectal Georgian ღლავი (ɣlavi, “young boy”) derives it from Proto-Kartvelian *ɣlaw-; for the word-initial Svan ყ (q̇) ~ Georgian ღ (ɣ) correspondence, compare Proto-Kartvelian *q̇wiz₁-, *q̇welp-.
