Seemingly from the same reduplicated Proto-Indo-European *Hrey-Hroy-e- as Sanskrit लेलायति (lelāyáti, to quiver, tremble), from *Hrey-. Further compare Latvian raize (worry, concern), rieva (wrinkle).
