[edit]From Pre-Germanic *moyryom, from Proto-Indo-European *moyro-, from *mey- (“to build”). Cognate with Latin mūrus (“wall”), pōmērium (“bounds, limits”), Sanskrit मिनोति (minóti, “to fix, build”).[1]
