Reconstruction:Proto-Celtic/kreitros
Appearance
Proto-Celtic
[edit]Etymology
[edit]From Proto-Indo-European *krey- (“to sift, separate”)[1] followed by *-trom (instrumental suffix). However, the fact that this noun failed to appear as a neuter in Old Irish is odd.
