Usage notes
[edit]- In Finnish, the correct inflection of placenames is determined by the local practice. Parainen is a singular word, but it is inflected in plural. However, in partitive and translative also singular is used.
Declension
[edit]The external locative cases (adessive, allative and ablative) are used with this place name when referring to a location; for example, "in Parainen" is Paraisilla.
