Partial calque of Korean 무수단(舞水端) (Musudan), from the Revised Romanization of Korean 무수 (musu) and 단 (dan), from Sino-Korean 舞水端, from 舞 (“dancing”), 水 (“water or waters”), and 端 (“end; cape”).
