@The dog2 The current (verb) definition in 臺灣閩南語常用詞辭典 is "存下金錢。例：儉錢　khiām-tsînn(存錢)、逐月日儉萬五想欲買厝。　Ta̍k gue̍h-ji̍t khiām bān gōo siūnn-beh bé tshù. (每個月存一萬五想買房子。)" This doesn't look like 省 to me. @Justinrleung: The first definition says 節儉. But I guess if you mean it only as a verb, then that wouldn't apply for this module. For some reason, this showed up when I typed 省 in the search, with the 對應華語 box checked. The dog2 (talk) 12:17, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

@The dog2: It should definitely be a verb, like 省錢、省電, since the gloss says “to save, to economize”, so it shouldn’t be here. @The dog2: It has two senses:

• 節省。例：虯儉 khiu5-khiam7.、「大富由天、小富由勤儉」tua7 pu3 iu5 thinn1, sio2 pu3 iu5 khin5 khiam7（勤儉能致小富）。
• 儲存，動詞。例：儉老本 khiam7 lau7 pun2。

My feeling is that the first sense is an adjective that corresponds to the first sense in 臺灣閩南語常用詞辭典, and the second corresponds to the second. — justin(r)leung _{{ (t...) | c=› }} 17:38, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
