@Mar vin kaiser: The tones are technically different for Xiamen and Zhangzhou, but it's indistinguishable in Quanzhou. In Taiwan, it seems like a mix of the two as well. For Xiamen and Zhangzhou, I think it's worth differentiating. — justin(r)leung _{{ (t...) | c=› }} 09:11, 17 April 2019 (UTC)

耗小影

@RcAlex36: Supposedly 相片 is 人的照片 according to Xiandai Hanyu Guifan Cidian, so it's the same kind of conflation. I'm not sure if this distinction is particular to Jieyang, since 潮州话1月通 (p. 105) just says 照相 for ho3 小影 (though 小影 is glossed as 相片). — justin(r)leung _{{ (t...) | c=› }} 07:02, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
