Nanning Pinghua Source for 果子

- @Justinrleung: Also, for Miaoli (Northern Sixian) and Hsinchu (Hailu), you previously put "水果", but it's not in the Hakka dictionary websites for those dialects, so wondering where you got them. - @Mar vin kaiser: I'm not sure, since there's been quite a bit of change over the years to the websites for Hakka from the MoE and the Hakka Affairs Council. I'm okay with them being removed for now until I can find something. Also, I want to caution against using 汉语方言学大词典 without checking other sources. A lot of it seems to be from compiling the 現代漢語方言大詞典 series, but they don't do a really good job with that. - @Justinrleung: For Yinchuan, 漢語方言學大詞典 just gives 青貨 as an equivalent for 水果. Maybe it's like the word 水果 being especially used for juicy and freshy fruits, but it is the word for "fruit"? At least, looking at the qualification made in the definition of 水果 (shuǐguǒ) here. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 04:08, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Mar vin kaiser: What I mean is 汉语方言学大词典 isn't the most reliable source because the vocabulary lists are mostly a compilation based on the 現代漢語方言大詞典 series (e.g. 銀川方言詞典), at least for the locations covered in the series, which means 現代漢語方言大詞典 should be taken as more authoritative and give us more information specific to the particular words in question. 普通话基础方言基本词汇集 only has 水果 for Yinchuan. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 06:21, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
