拜拜

@Justinrleung I wonder if it's really a synonym, because 拜拜 can refer to praying to anybody, while 拜神 refers to praying to deities. In fact, people generally make a distinction between 拜神 and 拜佛, and both of these can be referred to as 拜拜. And 拜拜 can also refer to 拜祖先, so I think 拜拜 is somewhat broader than 拜神. @The dog2: Yes, that is true. It's not a true synonym but I think it can be included here. Several dictionaries talk about it as something done for deities (at least typically):
