I can't find some dialects

[edit]

@Justinrleung I'm looking at 福建省志方言志 and I can't find some dialects here, namely:

  1. From Min: Youxi (尤溪)
  2. From Hakka: Shanghang (上杭), Yongding (永定), Qingliu (清流), Jiufeng (九峰),
  3. From Min-Gan dialects: Shaowu (邵武), Guangze (光澤), Jianning (建寧), Taining (泰寧)
  4. From Min-Hakka-Gan dialects: Shunchang (順昌), Jiangle (將樂), Mingxi (明溪)
  5. From Wu Chinese: Pucheng (浦城)

I hope you could help show me where they are. Thanks! Mar vin kaiser (talk) 09:41, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Mar vin kaiser: I'm not quite sure what you mean by "where they are". We currently don't support all of these dialect points. You can always check our current supported points at Module:zh/data/dial-syn and Module:zh/data/dial.
  1. Shaowu, Guangze, Shunchang, Jiangle and Mingxi are grouped under Shaojiang Min here.
  2. Shanghang, Yongding, Qingliu and Jiufeng (Pinghe-JF) are under Hakka.
  3. Pucheng is under Wu.
Youxi is a tricky one because it's in a transitional zone. I'll have to look again to see how the dialects within Youxi should be classified and add them later. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 15:17, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: Oh, I thought we already currently support all these dialect points (like list them in the chart). My bad. Anyway, thanks for the links. So I was right in guessing that 崇安 corresponds to Wuyishan. Thanks! --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 00:20, 23 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
