Yes, the -k coda was treated as -h with the nucleus unchanged. I created two new ad hoc rhymes for this; please see the entries. Wyang (talk) 21:32, 24 August 2016 (UTC)

Hmm, this is complicated. I used the system in 《福州方言詞典》（福建人民出版社1994年版）, which collapses 陰平, 陽平 and 陽入 into a single category, which becomes 上聲 after 陽平 or 陽入. I listened to the pronunciations of some combinations of 陽平 + 陰平, and it is mostly 55 + 55, although in some cases the first syllable is slightly lower. So I changed it to match Wikipedia's more detailed table. Wyang (talk) 06:18, 12 October 2016 (UTC)

IPA

I fixed the fake IPA tone numbers to actual IPA. For sandhi, rather than using the superscript minus (as a sub for the en dash), it would be more professional to use reversed Chao tone letters. But that would require more tinkering with the code, and I didn't want to mess with it. kwami (talk) 01:40, 21 August 2019 (UTC)

杯 (final -uoi)

I've modified the IPA, to better reflect modern (late 20th / early 21st century) Fuzhou phonology, where the final of 杯 = [ui] rather than [uoi]. This final does not exhibit rime tensing (any longer!) either, so I've modified them to the same IPA value.

This fits better with the information at w:Fuzhou dialect as well as Li Zhuqing (1998) and Chen Changhe (2019), which all use /ui/ and state that Fuzhou only has one triphthong /uai/. I'm aware that not all Min Dong varieties have this sound change. ——— Michael Ly (talk) 19:00, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
