Borrowed from Hebrew יְהוּא (y'hu). Attested to in Akkadian as 𒅀𒌑𒀀 𒈥 𒄷𒌝𒊑𒄿 (Iaúa mar Chumrii, literally Jehu of the people of the land of Omri).
