Sumti tcita are tcita (“labels”) for extra sumti of the selbri which the sumti tcita modify. By "extra sumti" are meant sumti which do not have a designated (numbered) place in the selbri's place structure. Sumti tcita are roughly analogous to prepositions: a sumti tcita requires an object, which is the "extra" sumti which it labels.

Morphologically, sumti tcita are abbreviated ("modal") forms of certain gismu, and should not be confused with rafsi.
