[edit]selbri (plural selbri)
- (Lojban grammar) A word acting like a predicate, which is immediately preceded by one sumti (“argument”), x1, and usually followed by one or more sumti (“arguments”): x2, x3... up to no further than x5. It is analogous to a verb in natural languages (non-constructed languages).
- A selbri together with its associated sumti (if any) forms a bridi (“sentence/predication”). A selbri without any sumti is called an observative bridi (“sentence/predication”).
