Category:English entry maintenance

English entries, or entries in other languages containing English terms, that are being tracked for attention and improvement by editors.

• Category:English descendant hubs: English terms that do not mean more than the sum of their parts but exist for listing two or more inclusion-worthy descendants.
• Category:English entries referencing etymons with invalid IDs: Entries which use the {{etymon}} template with an invalid ID. For example, entry>lang>nonexistent ID or lang>nonexistent entry>nonexistent ID
• Category:English entries that don't exist: English terms that do not meet the criteria for inclusion (CFI). They are added to the category with the template {{no entry|en}}.
• Category:English entries with etymology texts: English entries that display an etymology generated by the template {{etymon}}.
• Category:English entries with etymology trees: English entries that display an etymology tree generated by the template {{etymon}}.
• Category:English entries with incorrect language header: English entries that have been placed under the wrong language header.
• Category:English entries with language name categories using raw markup: English entries that have been placed in a language name category using raw wiki markup (i.e. [[Category:English ...]]). They should be added using {{cln|en|...}} instead.
• Category:English entries with topic categories using raw markup: English entries that have been placed in a topic category using raw wiki markup (i.e. [[Category:en:...]]). They should be added using {{C|en|...}} instead.
• Category:English links with ignored alt parameters: Pages containing English links where the |alt= parameter has been ignored.
• Category:English links with ignored id parameters: Pages containing English links where the |id= parameter has been ignored.
• Category:English links with manual fragments: Pages containing English links where a manual link fragment has been given.
• Category:English links with redundant alt parameters: Pages containing English links where the |alt= parameter is redundant.
• Category:English links with redundant target parameters: Pages containing English links where the alt text could replace the link target, instead of being given separately.
• Category:English links with redundant wikilinks: Pages containing English links which contain a redundant wikilink.
• Category:English nouns with unknown or uncertain plurals: English nouns with unknown or uncertain plurals.
• Category:English quotations with omitted translation: English quotations where a translation would normally be required but the translation has explicitly been omitted by specifying -. The translation should be supplied instead.
• Category:English requests for English equivalent term: English entries with definitions that have been tagged with {{rfeq}}. Read the documentation of the template for more information.
• Category:English term requests: Entries with Template:der, Template:inh, Template:m and similar templates lacking the parameter for linking to English terms.
• Category:English terms in nonstandard scripts: Pages containing English terms in nonstandard scripts.
• Category:English terms needing to be assigned to a sense: English entries that have terms under headers such as "Synonyms" or "Antonyms" not assigned to a specific sense of the entry in which they appear. Use Template:syn or Template:ant to fix these.
• Category:English terms with audio pronunciation: English terms that include the pronunciation in the form of an audio file.
• Category:English terms with collocations: English entries that contain collocations that were added using templates such as {{co}}.
• Category:English terms with IPA pronunciation: English terms that include the pronunciation in the form of IPA.
• Category:English terms with non-redundant manual script codes: Pages containing English terms with non-redundant manual script codes.
• Category:English terms with non-redundant non-automated sortkeys: English terms with non-redundant non-automated sortkeys.
• Category:English terms with quotations: English entries that contain quotes that were added using templates such as {{quote}}, {{quote-book}}, {{quote-journal}}, etc.
• Category:English terms with redundant head parameter: English terms that contain a redundant head= parameter in their headword (called using {{head}} or a language-specific equivalent).
• Category:English terms with redundant script codes: Pages containing English terms with redundant script codes.
• Category:English terms with redundant sortkeys: English terms with redundant sortkeys.
• Category:English terms with usage examples: English entries that contain usage examples that were added using templates such as {{ux}}.
• Category:English undefined derivations: English etymologies using {{undefined derivation}}, where a more specific template such as {{borrowed}} or {{inherited}} should be used instead.
