(Is there an English equivalent to this definition?)

This template can be used on a definition line in non-English entries by editors who think that there could be an English word which neatly corresponds to the sense, without the need of re-defining it. Editors who are proficient in English can later check the entries in Category:Requests for English equivalent term by language and add the word.
Arguments
[edit]|1=
- The language code of the entry.
Usage
[edit]This template is to be added after a thorough definition of what the word means. Example (where ??
is to be replaced with the appropriate language code):
# a container, typically made of glass or plastic and having a tapered neck, used primarily for holding liquids {{rfeq|??}}
which will then be kindly replaced by the English editors with
# [[bottle]]
Note
[edit]If, as an English checker, you find a definition which you think does not have a neat correspondence in English, you may remove the template, but when in doubt, keep it as further investigation and comparison with other languages might lead to the creation of a translation hub or an eventual translation.
