Etymology
[edit]See Polish Beskidy. According to Albanologists Orel and Çabej, it is possibly derived from Proto-Albanian *beškāi tāi (“the mountain pastures”);[1][2] compare modern Albanian bjeshkët, plural of bjeshkë.
