Appendix talk:Translations of female given names in multiple languages
Add topicIn Portuguese "Julius" does not exist. It's spelled "Júlio". It happens to be my name. Some of the names seem to be misrepresented. "Samson" and " Leopold" are translated "Sansão" and "Leopoldo" in Catalan and have no translation in Portuguese. I don´t know if that is the correct catalan for those names but it's perfect Portuguese ("Sansão" and "Leopoldo"). I sugest a better look at the grid. Also a difference between Portuguese and Portuguese from Brazil Names would be useful because some of them simply aren't translated in Portugal, like "Ion". Portuguese authorities have a very strict set of rules regarding name registering and that usually denies the possibility of some of the translations.
