[edit]- pattern mesto n, noun
- mest stem
Singular
[edit]Plural
[edit]Usage
[edit]Genitive plural modifies the stem differently for each word, so you need to look up its entry in the Wiktionary or any other Slovak dictionary.
The modern Slovak neuter words that end at -emeno also have an alternative form of the nominative, accusative, and vocative singular, in which they end at -emä. This is used almost exclusively in poetry. For example, bremeno—bremä, rameno—ramä. But do not count on every Slovak even understanding these archaic forms!
If Wiktionary lists specific nouns as having different forms in certain cases, those take precedence over the declension pattern.
