[edit]Gikun word derived from Sino-Japanese word 華美, kabi, (magnificent beauty), which combines a kanji meaning "magnificent" (華) and a kanji meaning "beauty" (美) and replacing it's reading with a word of Japanese origin meaning "beauty".
