[edit]Suffix
[edit]-cita f (noun-forming suffix, plural -citas, masculine -cito, masculine plural -citos)
Usage notes
[edit]- Added to feminine words and names to denote a diminutive form. It occurs especially with words ending in a consonant or a vowel other than unstressed -a, and does not delete the final vowel (contrast with -ita, which is added in place of a vowel that does get deleted).
