[edit]From Middle Korean 으〮리〮로〮소〮녀〮 (-úlílwóswónyé), through Early Modern Korean 로소냐 (-lwoswonya), ㄹ소냐 (-lswonya). Ultimately a combination of Middle Korean suffixes 으〮리〮 (-úlí-, irrealis suffx) + 롯〮 (-lwós-, emotive suffix) + ᄋᆞ녀 (-onye, yes/no question suffix).
