래 • (-rae)
- Short for 라(고) 해 (-ra(-go) hae, “[one] says that...”); alternative form of 대 (-dae), used in the environments of the allomorph 라 (-ra) of 다 (-da).
걔 말에 따르면 나무도 동물이래.- Gyae mar-e ttareumyeon namu-do dongmur-irae.
- According to what he says, trees are apparently animals.
아기가 밥을 먹지를 않더래.- Agi-ga bab-eul meokji-reul anteorae.
- The baby is apparently refusing to eat.
