래 • (-rae)

Short for 라(고) 해 (-ra(-go) hae, “[one] says that...”); alternative form of 대 (-dae), used in the environments of the allomorph 라 (-ra) of 다 (-da).
걔 말 에 따르면 나무 도 동물 이래.
Gyae mar-e ttareumyeon namu-do dongmur-irae.
According to what he says, trees are apparently animals.

아기 가 밥 을 먹지 를 않더래.
Agi-ga bab-eul meokji-reul anteorae.
The baby is apparently refusing to eat.
Short for 라(고) 해 (-ra(-go) hae, “[one] says to...”); post-vowel and post-liquid allomorphic form of 으래 (-eurae).
