[edit]Inherited from Old Ruthenian -шний (-šnij), from Old East Slavic -чьнии, -шьнии (-čĭnii, -šĭnii), from Proto-Slavic *-ťь + *-ьňь or extracted from Proto-Slavic *domaťьňь.
