[edit]Inherited from Prakrit 𑀓𑀼𑀁𑀪𑀸𑀭 (kuṃbhāra), 𑀓𑀼𑀁𑀪𑀆𑀭 (kuṃbhaāra), from Sanskrit 𑘎𑘳𑘦𑘿𑘥𑘎𑘰𑘨 (kumbhakāra). Cognate with Old Punjabi ਕੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਿਆਰੁ (kumhiāru), Middle Bengali কুম্ভার (kumbhar).
