[edit]Inherited from Ashokan Prakrit *๐ญ๐ผ๐๐๐ (*rukkha), from Sanskrit เคตเฅเคเฅเคท (vแนkแนฃรก) (compare เคฐเฅเคเฅเคท (rukแนฃa), เคฐเฅเคเฅเคท (rลซkแนฃa)), from Proto-Indo-Aryan *wrฬฅแนญแนฃรกs, from Proto-Indo-Iranian *wrฬฅฤลกรกs. Doublet of ๐ฏ๐๐๐ (vaccha). Cognate with Pali rukkha.
