Denominal verb of 𑀧𑀳𑀽𑀅 (pahūa), 𑀧𑀪𑀽𑀬 (pabhūya, “much”) + -𑀅𑀇 (-aï). Turner proposes the derivation is by analogy with verbs of the type 𑀥𑀽𑀅 (dhūa) ~ 𑀥𑀼𑀯𑀇 (dhuvaï).[1]
