[edit]Inherited from Proto-Turkic *bïŋ (“thousand”). Cognate with Old Turkic 𐰋𐰃𐰭 (biŋ), Chuvash пин (pin), Khalaj ming (“thousand”), Turkish bin, Uzbek ming, Bashkir мең (meñ), Yakut муҥ (muñ).
