Inherited from Proto-Turkic *bïŋ (thousand). Cognate with Old Turkic 𐰋𐰃𐰭 (biŋ), Chuvash пин (pin), Khalaj ming (thousand), Turkish bin, Uzbek ming, Bashkir мең (meñ), Yakut муҥ (muñ).
