    From Akkadian ๐’€€๐’‡‰๐’ˆฆ๐’„˜๐’ƒผ (รDIdiqlat) , from Sumerian ๐’€€๐’‡‰๐’ˆฆ๐’„˜๐’ƒผ (รDIdigna, รDIdigina, literally โ€œfast as an arrowโ€). Influenced by ๐ฌ™๐ฌŒ๐ฌ–๐ฌญ๐ฌŒ (tiฮณri, literally โ€œarrowโ€) through folk etymology.[1]
