골백
Appearance
Korean
[edit]Etymology
[edit]골 (gol, meaning unknown) + 백 (百, baek, “hundred”). The first element may be connected to Old Korean 萬尸 (*KWOl, “ten thousand”), although there is potential for circular reasoning here.
Pronunciation
[edit]- (SK Standard/Seoul) IPA(key): [ko̞ɭbɛk̚] ~ [ko̞ɭbe̞k̚]
- Phonetic hangul: [골백/골벡]
