First attested in the Seokbo sangjeol (釋譜詳節 / 석보상절), 1447, as Middle Korean 간슈ᄒᆞ다〮. Also attested in the Eoje naehun, (御製內訓 / 어제내훈), 1475 , as Middle Korean 간ᄉᆞᄒᆞ다〮.
