[edit]Borrowed from Dutch adjunct, from Middle Dutch adjoinct, from Latin adiunctus, perfect passive participle of adiungō (“join to”), from ad + iungō (“join”). Doublet of ꦲꦗꦸꦤ꧀ (ajun) and ꦲꦗꦸꦁ (ajung).
