- probably from Old Javanese siddha (“siddha”), from Sanskrit सिद्ध (siddha, “accomplished”). Doublet of ꦱꦶꦢ (sida).
- probably affixed ꦧꦺꦢ (béda) + ꦱ- (sa-).
