[edit]Alternative forms
[edit]In Korea, the 丷 component on top of 龹 (also known as 倒八字, inverted 八 character) is written 八 instead of 丷, similar to the form found in the Kangxi dictionary. In Japan, characters with 龹 as a component (hyōgai kanji, jinmeiyō kanji and kyūjitai forms of jōyō kanji) are written with 八 on top while shinjitai kanji and jōyō kanji are written with 丷 on top.
