Etymology
[edit]The 連用形 (ren'yōkei, stem or continuative form) of the classical verb 傾る (nadaru),[1] modern 雪崩れる, 傾れる (nadareru, “to slope, descend; of snow, to slide”).
The kanji spelling is jukujikun (熟字訓), borrowed from Chinese 雪崩 (xuěbēng).
