      ゴータミー精舎(しょうじゃ)初期(しょき)仏教(ぶっきょう)(テーラワーダ仏教・上座(ぶっきょう・かみざ)仏教(ぶっきょう))を(まな)び、実践(じっせん)する「お釈迦(しゃか)(さま)のお(てら)」です。旧玉川(きゅうたまがわ)上水(じょうすい)遊歩道(ゆうほどう)(めん)した精舎(しょうじゃ)では、スリランカやミャンマーの長老-方(ちょうろうかた)指導(しどう)による瞑想(めいそう)会・勉強(かい・べんきょう)(かい)などが開催(かいさい)されて-います。
      Gōtamī Shōja wa shoki Bukkyō (Tērawāda Bukkyō Kamiza Bukkyō) o manabi, jissen suru “Oshaka sama no otera” desu. Kyūtamagawa jōsui no yūhodō ni menshita shōja de wa, Suriranka ya Myanmā no chōrō kata no shidō ni yoru meisō kai benkyō kai nado ga kaisai sarete-imasu.
      Gōtamī Vihara studies and practices the early Buddhism (Theravada Buddhism, Sthaviravāda) of “the temple of Gautama Buddha”. The monastery faces the Kyutama River esplanade, where senior monks from Sri Lanka or Myanmar hold mediation and study sessions and events.
