- その頃には日本の租界はなかったので、領事館を始め、日本の会社や商店は大抵美租界の一隅にあった。
- Sono koro ni wa Nihon no sokai wa nakatta no de, ryōjikan o hajime, Nihon no kaisha ya shōten wa taitei Mi-sokai no ichigū ni atta.
- Because Japan did not have any concession territories (in China) in those days, Japanese consulates, offices and stores were mostly in corners of American concession territories.
