[edit]Borrowed from Mandarin Chinese 清老頭/清老头 (qīnglǎotóu). Surface analysis 清 (chin-, “pure”) + 老頭 (rōtō), clipping of 老頭牌 (rōtōhai, rōtōpai, “terminal tiles”).
