Etymology
[edit]Partial calque of Literary Chinese 治而不忘亂. From I Ching 易經·繫辭下. Originally read as 治まりて乱るるを忘れず (osamarite midaruru o wasurezu) in kanbun kundoku. Back-formation of this form in pseudo-kanbun would be 居治而不忘亂.
